Mo losses, Mo Biggie.
The Nets will host “Biggie Night” to commemorate the life of Brooklyn rapper Christopher Wallace, a.k.a. The Notorious B.I.G., on March 12, three days after the 20th anniversary of his death.
The Nets plan to have Sean “Diddy” Combs and Wallace’s mother, Voletta Wallace, in attendance for pre-game and halftime ceremonies.
Biggie’s children T’Yanna and CJ Wallace, Mark Pitts, and Wayne Barrow are also invited.
A video montage will be shown and Biggie’s music will be played in the arena throughout the game.
With the game being against the Knicks, it would be fitting if they play “I Got A Story to Tell,” in which Biggie details how he slept with the wife of a Knicks player, whom many have said to be Anthony Mason, and robbed him at gunpoint.
